Color Obsession: rainbow row of colors

I love this Kate Spade board covering up the store renovations in Shangrila Mall! With the purses, shoes & clothes lined up according to color - in rows resembling a rainbow!

It reminded me of other everyday things I've seen lined up according to the colors of the rainbow. Like books...

More books... This time on a bookshelf...

Pencils... Yes, my colored pencils are always arranged this way.

Bridesmaid dresses (which you might remember from here)...

Rainboots...

Stilettos...

This growing trend of pretty rainbow cakes...

And even people! Haha!

Isn't it so much fun?

P.S. Like I warned you here, this is one of those long overdue posts. So by now, the Kate Spade store in Shangri-la Mall might already be open!

my morning drive

It's been a sad, busy workweek. But my morning drive this week gave me tiny happiness boosters to fuel me throughout my long days at the office.

There were two particular delightful, albeit trivial, conversations on The Morning Rush with Chico, Delamar and Gino that made my day.

The first was on the idea that it would be great if mosquitoes sucked fat instead of blood. Now, that would really be great, right?! I love how Gino got excited about the idea of a product called ON (natawa ako dito... opposite of OFF... get it? haha!). If that were true, boy, I'd slather ON all over my tummy!

The second conversation was on how He-Man had Dora-the-Explorer's haircut. This really cracked me up!

Yes, I just love a delightful morning drive!

some totes with quotes

Because I love color & prints, I usually pick Envirosax-types of totes. But I think these statement totes from Kate Spade are pretty cute. Especially since I really do eat cake for breakfast every now and then.

These made me laugh.

Remember to re-use totes when you go shopping today! Happy Sunday!

God made stripes.

My 6-year-old son recently declared, “I don't think God made everything. He didn't make the cars, the bikes, the toys.” While my 13-year-old daughter’s response that God made the men (and materials) that made the cars, bikes and toys is completely true, I got to thinking that man does make some pretty cool things. Like stripes.
It’s easy to imagine stripes on the walls or floors of a room (or Kate Spade store for that matter).

Or even photoshop-ed on a bike lane in a print ad (still Kate Spade).

Or actually painted on on the road!

I was already amazed by the actual striped street. Who would have thought God would top that with this?

God did make everything! Even stripes! :)
Enjoy God's day!
